Ohio’s Five-Star Rating for Early Learning Excellence

Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is Ohio’s five-star quality rating and improvement system, jointly administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. This statewide system recognizes and promotes early learning programs that go beyond basic licensing, health, and safety standards to deliver exceptional learning experiences that prepare children for kindergarten—and for lifelong success.

Our Commitment to Excellence

To be recognized as a high-quality program, early learning centers must achieve at least a three-star rating. Programs that earn four- or five-star ratings demonstrate outstanding performance in early childhood education.

We are proud to announce that Western Buckeye Educational Service Center has earned five-star ratings at all three of our preschool locations:
